Staying at the "Farm"

We often get asked if we rent the farm? Well, the answer is no we don't. If you really really want to stay here we can always be convinced but generally it isn't for rent. We always seem to be renting someone elses property here or overseas so if you have "a deal" for us send us an email!

We do let family and friends stay here though for $0.00, we just swap a bit of "work" for the "rent" usually as the farm always needs work!

If you have made arrangements to really stay at the "farm" then here is the deal:

What To Bring!

Sheets and pillow cases, there are doonas and pillows there.

Booze and food.

There is a pizza oven so pizza stuff is good one night anyway, there is the stuff required to make the dough in the bread machine already there, but the topping stuff you need to bring.

There are double beds in two rooms, two singles in another and the couch in the living room. There are 3 bedrooms in total and the living room which can be used as a bedroom in a pinch so depend upon who is going it can sleep up to 7 (2 couples and 3 singles??) There is plenty of more floor room if people don't mind bringing/sleeping on air mats or alike. Or tents? There is plenty of space for caravans, buses ect. Just no leaving them there, well without asking anyway ;0)

Just for the record, "Margret you can leave your motorhome anytime!".

That is about it, everything else is pretty much there....it may not be to your taste or ours for that matter but it is all there! There is so many quirky things on the farm I don't even know where to start but a few worth mention are that there is no hot water at present in the kitchen. You need to get hot water out of the bathroom for dishes! Talking about "WATER" please remember the farm is located on one of the dryest continents on the planet and it is currently in drought... so as the old sayings go... "If it is yellow let it mellow, if it is brown flush it down!" and others all apply here. Water is precious here....there is no town water here, only tanks, please use it wisely. If you need a shower have one but keep it short ! Please either take your rubbish with you or we do have a bin. The bin is located at our neighbors front gate entrance, please place non-disgusting rubbish in our bin upon your departure. Please only leave your footprints behind at the farm, except in the house!
